Synopsis:
Superior Electronics, a well established leader in the consumer electronics industry, came to AVWeb Designs for a complete redesign of their existing website as well as a re-branding of their company image. We also established a new tagline and motto “We’re more then just better, We’re Superior.”

When we brainstormed ideas for Superior Electronics we conjured imagery of the Knights of the Round Table as well as Camelot and Royalty. We also knew that we needed to convey the cutting edge technology Superior Electronics is known for providing.

Solution:
The logo we decided upon contains a Blue glowing shield made from space-aged materials. Our typography utilized a hand drawn font from a local artist. We feel it is a good marriage of technology and royalty.

For the web site development we had to take a hard look at their needs. We determined upon a two-fold approach would best suite this project. On the front end we executed a clean easy to use interface, which showcases the new logo front and center. We also produced a video intro with special effects.

Our solution also includes a custom pc configurator which allows customers to easily build and order custom pc’s directly from their website. The tool is powered by a complex relational database. However, updating products is no longer a chore because our solution includes an easy to use admin control panel that allows superiors highly specialized staff to easily add, edit and delete items from the custom computer configurator. Our solution also includes a content management system which allows Superior to manage item description and easily add educational information to assist customers in making educated purchases.

We also redesigned their existing online store, which features over 1,000 electronics parts and accessories.
