Designs was the Major Prize Sponsor for the
Antelope Valley Business Showcase
The
''Business Showcase'' was held at Challenger Hall
and hosted by the AV Board of Trade, Antelope
Valley Chambers of Commerce and the Palmdale Chamber
of Commerce. The networking opportunities were
abundant and we did more then our share.
AVWeb
Designs was the first place prize sponsor and
had over 1,000 entries for our $3,000 website
giveaway. When all was said and done the Jethawks
won the drawing.
We
were approached by many local business owners who
remarked that they were very impressed with our
booth which included a 32" flat screen television
playing our company DVD's hot off the presses.
We also brought out a 400 watt sound system and
a water tower filled with AVWeb Designs water
bottles manufactured specifically for the event.
Our booth was even shown on the AV3 News coverage
of the event.
The
Business Showcase also marked the first time we
have done any marketing. Until this point all of
our clientele was strictly word of mouth! We have
such a great customer base of wonderful clients
they have spread the word and kept us very busy.
At
the end of the day we had done quite a bit of
networking, schmoozing and educating local businesses
about the positive effects a well designed web
presence can have on their bottom line. By the
time we packed our booth we were glad to take
a break but, we can't wait until next year to
do it all over again!
